Wheelchair Basketball: Fifth In The Conference & Seven Game Winning Streak

Turnstone's Varsity (High School) wheelchair basketball team finished fifth (out of 10 teams) at the Midwest Conference Championship. Turnstone went 3-1 as the games were played in Cincinnati February 18-19.

Turnstone's toughest game was a 1-point victory (35-34) over the #21 WASA Eagles from Marquette, WI. Turnstone had blowout victories versus Jr. Mustangs (47-13) from Louisville and #27 ASPO Cavaliers (54-33) from Cleveland to extend their overall record to 18-10. Their lone loss was in the opening round match to #12 Synergy Jr. Bulls (26-42) from Chicago.

Riding off three straight victories in Cincinnati, Turnstone continued their winning ways by sweeping the competition in Grand Rapids March 4-5 with four straight wins to extend their overall winning streak to seven games.

Turnstone is currently nationally ranked #22 and will compete at Nationals on March 24 - 27 in Wichita, KS.
