Local Team Finishes Second in the USPSA National Power Soccer Tournament

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (June 20, 2024)– This past weekend (June 13-16) 39 teams from 19 states traveled to Turnstone Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for the United States Power Soccer Association’s (USPSA) MK Battery Conference Cup 2024 Series. Turnstone’s two local teams represented Fort Wayne at this national event where they competed against the top teams in the nation. The Turnstone Flyers are in the Premier Cup which includes the top 10 teams in the nation and the Turnstone Furious Flyers compete in the Founders Cup which includes teams nationally ranked between 31st-41st.

Turnstone's Premier Cup power soccer team finished second at Nationals for the second time in three seasons. Local player, David Dowling, earned both the MVP and the Sportsmanship Award. Turnstone's Founders Conference team finished 38th out of 60 teams.
