Turnstone Center Hosts My Wellness & Recreation “MWR” Event for Veterans
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (July 02, 2024)—Turnstone Center is excited to announce the upcoming My Wellness & Recreation (MWR) event, which will take place at Turnstone’s Plassman Athletic Center in partnership with INVETS and Fort Wayne Vet Center. This special event will introduce veterans to a world of sports, recreation, fitness, and aquatics tailored just for them.

Join us for an opportunity to connect with fellow veterans and explore new activities in an inclusive and supportive environment. The event will feature:
- Adaptive Fitness Center Tours: Discover our state-of-the-art adaptive fitness center.
- Adaptive Cycling: Try your hand at cycling on our adaptive bikes.
- Boccia: Test your precision in a game of Boccia.
- Sitting Volleyball: Feel the thrill of sitting volleyball.
- Cornhole: Enjoy a friendly game of cornhole.

Whether you aim to stay active, make new friends, or simply have a good time, our adaptive sports and recreational activities offer something for everyone. Preregistration is encouraged but not required.
