Turnstone Welcomes Teams From Across The Country to Compete in Annual Summit City Shootout

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (February 2, 2024) – This weekend, Saturday, February 3 and Sunday, February 4, Turnstone is hosting 18 adult wheelchair basketball teams from all over the nation and Canada to compete in the annual Summit City Shootout. Teams include University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI); LWSRA Hawks D2 and D3 (New Lenox, IL); Shepherd Stealers D2 & D3 (Atlanta, GA); Triangle Thunder (Raleigh, NC); Pittsburgh Steelwheelers (Pittsburgh, PA); Sportable Rim Riders (Richmond, VA); Chicago Hornets (Chicago, IL); Cleveland WC Cavaliers (Cleveland, OH); CRPD Cap City Cardinals (Columbus, OH); Southeastern Rolling Rebels (Decatur, GA); Mary Free Bed Rollin Drive (Grand Rapids, MI); Philadelphia Rough Riders (Philadelphia, PA); Detroit Wheelchair Pistons (Detroit, MI); London Forest City Flyers (London, Ontario); Rochester Wheels (Rochester, NY); and WASA Golden Eagles (Brookfield, WI). All games will take place in the Plassman Athletic Center Fieldhouse.

Spectators are encouraged to come out this weekend to watch athletes play. Games start at 8 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Full schedule can be found here.
