FORT WAYNE, IN (December 20, 2018) – Turnstone is overjoyed to announce that it recently received a generous grant from the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation totaling $10,000. The funds will be used to support various therapy programs for people with disabilities offered at Turnstone.

The programs made possible through this funding help individuals make strides in reaching their individual goals and their highest potential. Recently, a Turnstone client, who is a participant in Turnstone’s occupational therapy and fitness therapy programs, said “Turnstone has helped me improve function on my left side and I have improved functionality in my left hand by throwing balls and feeding Milo [Turnstone’s therapy dog] treats.”

Without this generous funding from the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation, clients like this would not be able to gain the proper services and help that they need to succeed. St. Joseph Community Health Foundation’s continued support allows Turnstone to ensure vital programs and services continue to be available to and accessible for people with disabilities.
