Turnstone Hosts the Fright in the Fort Wheelchair Basketball Tournament – November 3rd<\/sup> & 4th<\/sup> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

FORT WAYNE, IN <\/strong>(October 31, 2018)<\/em> – Turnstone is proud to host the “Fright in the Fort” Wheelchair Basketball Tournament for Prep & Varsity wheelchair basketball teams on November 3rd<\/sup> and 4th<\/sup>. There will be 14 teams from around the Midwest region competing. Eight (8) of the competing teams are varsity (ages 14-18) and six (6) prep (ages 8-13) teams from Alabama, Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. <\/p>\n\n

Saturday games will begin at 10 am and the last game starts at 5:30 pm.<\/p>\n\n

Sunday games begin at 8 am with the Varsity Division championship starting at 12:30 pm and the Prep Division Championship starting at 2:00 pm.<\/p>\n\n

Both of Turnstone’s teams, the Turnstone Flyers (Prep and Varsity) will be competing in this tournament. Currently, Turnstone’s Prep Division team is ranked #9 nationally.<\/p>\n\n

All games will be held in the Plassman Athletic Center at Turnstone, 3320 N. Clinton St., Fort Wayne. All games are open to the public with a nominal $1 entrance cost to support Turnstone's adaptive sports programming.<\/p>\n\n
