Turnstone Hosts Summit City Shootout and 9th<\/sup> Annual Silver Stick Sled Hockey Finals February 2nd<\/sup>-3rd<\/sup> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

FORT WAYNE, IN <\/strong>(January 31, 2019)<\/em> – Turnstone is proud to host two adaptive sports tournaments this weekend, February 2nd<\/sup> & 3rd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n

The Summit City Shootout Wheelchair Basketball tournament for Division II and III teams to compete. There will be a total of 21 teams competing from around the United States and Canada, the largest wheelchair basketball tournament held at Turnstone to date.<\/p>\n\n

Saturday games will begin at 8am and the last game starts at 5:45pm.<\/p>\n\n

Sunday games begin at 8am and the last game will start at 12:30pm.<\/p>\n\n

Admission for these games is $1.00. All games held in the Plassman Athletic Center at Turnstone, 3320 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN.<\/p>\n\n

The second tournament that Turnstone is hosting is the 9th<\/sup> Annual Silver Stick Sled Hockey Finals for youth and adult teams with disabilities. There are 8 teams attending from around the Midwest to compete.<\/p>\n\n

Saturday games will begin at 8am with the last match starting at 5:10pm.<\/p>\n\n

Sunday games will begin at 7:00am with the last match starting at 4:00pm.<\/p>\n\n

All games will be held at Trine University’s Thunder Ice Arena at 619 W Maumee St, Angola, IN 46703.<\/p>\n\n
