Turnstone Hosts Prep & Varsity Wheelchair Basketball Regional Qualifier<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

FORT WAYNE, IN <\/strong>(January 24, 2019)<\/em> -- For the third consecutive year, Turnstone will host the Regional Qualifier tournament for prep & varsity wheelchair basketball teams January 26 & 27, 2019. 14 teams from Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana will compete for the championship title. The public is invited to attend the tournament games with a ticket cost of $1.00 per person. Children under seven will be admitted for free.<\/p>\n\n

Eight of the participating teams are varsity division with teams comprised of players that are 14-18 years old. The remaining six teams are included in the prep division with players that are thirteen years old and under. The winning teams will earn a spot in the 2019 National Wheelchair Basketball Championship held in New Lenox, IL. <\/p>\n\n

Saturday games will begin at 10 am and last game starts at 5:30 pm.<\/p>\n\n

Sunday games begin at 8 am and last game starts at 2pm.<\/p>\n\n

Championship games for Varsity & Prep both will be at 12:30pm.<\/p>\n\n

All games held in the Plassman Athletic Center at Turnstone, 3320 N. Clinton St., Fort Wayne.<\/p>\n\n
