Turnstone Hosts 2018 Regional Qualifier Prep/Varsity Wheelchair Basketball Tournament

FORT WAYNE, IN (January 25, 2018) -- For the second consecutive year, Turnstone will host the Regional Qualifier tournament for prep & varsity wheelchair basketball teams January 27 & 28, 2018. 13 teams from Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and California will compete for the championship title. The public is invited to attend the tournament games with a ticket cost of $1.00 per person. Children under seven will be admitted for free.

Eight of the participating teams are varsity division with teams comprised of players that are 14-18 years old. The remaining five teams are included in the prep division, including the #2 nationally ranked Turnstone Flyers, with players that are thirteen years old and under. The winning teams will earn a spot in the 2018 National Wheelchair Basketball Championship held in Louisville, Kentucky.

All games held in the Plassman Athletic Center at Turnstone, 3320 N. Clinton St., Fort Wayne.
