Turnstone Athletes Earn Gold at 5th Annual Endeavor Games

Turnstone hosted the 5th annual Endeavor Games which featured 102 athletes competing in 11 different sports between June 24-26, 2021. Among this group were 18 athletes from Turnstone with 6 athletes competing for the first time. Turnstone athletes took home 10 Gold, 7 Silver & 1 Bronze medal.

*Total of 32 individuals took part in our Track & Field Clinics which included 5 Turnstone athletes
*Field Competition was moved indoors for both long jump and seated throws due to heavy mud
*Track Competition was was held both outdoors and indoors due to lightning

ARCHERY
We had a total of 18 individuals took part in the clinic with 4 being from Turnstone. Heavy mud prevented us from hosting competitions the following day.
POWER SOCCER
We had 3 Turnstone participants for the clinic along with a handful of others who traveled in. This clinic was led by Sam Labas who is the head coach for the Turnstone Flyers power soccer team.
ADAPTIVE TENNIS
We had 3 Turnstone participants for the clinic along with numerous others who traveled in. This clinic was led by our good friend Lynn Bender from the Grand Rapids, MI area.
ADAPTIVE SOFTBALL
We had 11 people try Adaptive Softball for the very first time as World Baseball Academy did a fantastic job providing this opportunity. 3 of the participants were from Turnstone.
WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL
We had 15 people part of our 3-on-3 wheelchair basketball competition. Members of the Mad Ants NBA G League assisted with this opportunity where we had 4 individuals from Turnstone and 5 individuals trying the sport for the first time.
