Turnstone and 3Rivers Credit Union Offer a Safe Way to Give Love this Valentine's Day

FORT WAYNE, IN (January 21, 2020) – Turnstone and 3Rivers Credit Union present “Together with Turnstone: Give Love. Inspire Life.” This new event is timed perfectly with the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday to provide the community a unique option to celebrate their loved ones while making a difference in the community.

“Together with Turnstone” presented by 3Rivers Credit Union is an online shopping experience with several packages available for Valentine’s gifts that can be purchased for loved ones. Proceeds from the purchases will support local children and adults with disabilities through Turnstone’s programs and services.

The Valentine’s package options are complete with treats from locally-owned businesses including: Design Collaborative, Highmark Tech Systems, Nothing Bundt Cakes, SmileMore Meal Prep, and Bragg A Lot Sweets & Drinks.

“On Valentine’s Day, 3Rivers Credit Union turns 86, and this year, we’re happy to celebrate our birthday by partnering with Turnstone and giving love back to our community,” stated Melissa Shaw, 3Rivers Vice President of Marketing. “Not only is this a wonderful way to safely treat someone special in your life, but we love that it creatively supports and promotes Turnstone’s mission.”

Purchasing a “Together with Turnstone” Valentine’s Day Package does more than just celebrate a holiday, it inspires life for individuals at Turnstone through generosity. This year has proven how critical access to Turnstone’s services and resources is for people in our community who have disabilities. In addition to purchasing gift packages, people can also purchase a Valentine that will be sent to a client who hasn’t been able to visit Turnstone throughout the pandemic due to social distancing measures and health care needs.

The $25 Sweetheart Package includes a mini Bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes, a 3D printed Valentine, a personalized Valentine's card, and a customized heart in our Heart Garden.

The Quarantine’s Date Night for Two Package, priced at $100, includes a dinner package for two from SmileMore Meal Prep, specialty dessert from Bragg A Lot Sweets, a 3D printed Valentine, a personalized Valentine's card, and a customized heart in our Heart Garden. The dinner package includes three menu options prepared and ready for you to enjoy in the comfort of your home with your Valentine.

Turnstone’s first-ever Heart Garden will display the names of loved ones along N. Clinton St. throughout the month of February. The garden offers a safe photo opp and outdoor activity to engage the community during an unconventional Valentine’s Day season.

The last day to purchase packages is Friday, February 5. Packages will be prepared for pickup at Turnstone on Friday, February 12, just in time for Valentine’s weekend. The Heart Garden will be installed the week of February 8.
