Power Soccer Founders Cup Team Made Two Big Wins

Turnstone was the team fooling others on April 1 as our Founders Conference team, Turnstone Furious Flyers, doubled their win total for the season as they went 2-1 with games hosted in Wooster, OH. This one-day event was planned for two doubleheaders with the Hot Shots and host team ASPO Force. The final game with the Force got canceled due to high winds that took out the main power.

First-year athlete, Alana Arellano, led the team with both goals in their 2-0 victory over the Hot Shots. Lucas Wable picked up the lone goal in the Flyer's 1-0 victory in their final game over Hot Shots. Kadence Waldron was solid behind the net with both shutouts and Kevin Hughes added two assists.

Turnstone had a quick scrimmage against the host ASPO Force secondary group as Wable had 2 goals, Arellano added a goal and Owen Donahue added 2 assists.

Turnstone also played ASPO Force main team in a 0-6 loss.

Next: Turnstone Premier Conference team, Turnstone Flyers, will travel to Greenwood, IN on April 22 for a one day tournament as they'll face the host team Circle City Rollers, Sudden Impact from Inday and the Chicago Fire. Turnstone is 4-1-1 versus these teams this season
