FORT WAYNE, Ind. (January 19, 2022)Turnstone athlete and West Noble High School student, Zebidiah (Zeb) Pfenning, has been named to the list for 2021 U.S. Paralympics Track & Field High School All-Americans. Pfenning was one of 47 men and women who earned spots on the 2021 High School All-American list. This list recognizes the top high school track and field athletes with Paralympic-eligible impairments based on their 2021 season performance.

“We are thrilled for Zeb and know how hard he has trained to achieve a recognition such as this,” said Kevin Hughes, Turnstone Sports & Recreation Coordinator. “We know Zeb will continue to grow and Turnstone looks forward to cheering him on in the future.”

In forming this list, the selection criteria looked at the top athlete performances in each event in 2021 as compared against the “A” standard for the U.S. Paralympics Track & Field National Team. The ranking list reflects those top performances in descending order based on the result as compared to the “A” standard by percentage.

Zeb was recognized in the 100m and long jump categories. He was one of 17 male athletes named for the 100m dash; and one of four male athletes named for the long jump. As a humble, yet talented and ambitious athlete, Zeb has trained at Turnstone for Track and Field since 2015.
