Power Soccer Hoosier Thaw March 4-5 RESULTS
Turnstone is hosting back-to-back weekends of power soccer as our two teams compete against the top teams in the nation. On March 4-5, Turnstone Furious Flyers hosted seven teams traveling from four states in the Champions, Presidents, and Founders Conference.
Quick Nuggets from this weekend's Founders Cup matches:
- First-year coach, Greg Buse, picked up his first victory as the team is now 1-6-1
- First-year soccer athlete, Evelyn Brinker, scored her 2nd goal of the season
- Kadence Waldron scored her first goal this season
- First-year soccer athlete, Alana Arellano, competed in her first matches
DASA Cyclones from St. Louis went undefeated 4-0 with two close matches (3-2 and 3-1) versus the ASPO Force from Wooster.
First-year team, Mary Free Bed Overdrive, from Grand Rapids, went undefeated 4-0
On March 11 & 12, Turnstone Flyers will host five of the top 10 nationally ranked teams in the Premier Conference. Turnstone is undefeated in this young season with a 4-0 record and outscoring their opponents 11-2. The Flyers will play both Saturday and Sunday at 12:30 pm and 3:00 pm. Teams will travel from Atlanta, Chicago, and the Indianapolis area. All matches will be held at Turnstone's Plassman Athletic Center.
