Submit Your Talent For a Chance To Perform In Turnstone's Center Stage Talent Show and Win $5000 First Prize
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (March 01, 2024)– Turnstone is pleased to announce that talent submissions are now being accepted for the 2024 Center Stage talent show! All talents, all ages, and all abilities are welcome to submit a video of their talent for a chance to perform at the Clyde Theater and win the cash prize. This year’s first-place prize will be $5,000. The live show will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 7 p.m., and proceeds of this event will support Turnstone’s mission of empowering people with disabilities.
To submit your talent, upload a video and your info using this link by April 12, 2024. Turnstone is seeking to showcase all kinds of talents—magic, comedy, juggling, live painting, impersonations, ventriloquism, acting, poetry, martial arts, singing, dancing, and much more!
About Center Stage
Turnstone’s “Center Stage: Fort Wayne’s Premier Talent Show” debuted in 2022 as a first-of-its-kind addition to the fine arts community in Greater Fort Wayne. The inclusive event elevates talent and performing arts for all people with and without disabilities. Art in all of its forms is the expression of life from the artist’s perspective, and through art we all have the opportunity to experience someone else’s thoughts, feelings, and point of view, and challenge us to respect diversity in life for the beauty that it creates.
After talent submissions close on April 12, selected contestants will perform their act on stage on June 13. A panel of judges will choose the winner of the show. Tickets for the live show will go on sale in May and will be available for purchase online, over the phone via 260-483-2100, or in person at Turnstone’s Plassman Athletic Center (3320 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana). General admission tickets to see Fort Wayne’s best local talent costs $50. VIP tickets cost $100 and include premium seating, a drink ticket and exclusive access to hors d'oeuvres before the show.
