Marketing & Communication Specialist

Turnstone is currently hiring for the position of Marketing and Communication Specialist. Under the general direction of the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the Communication & Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation of the agency’s strategic marketing plan. This position requires strong writing and time management skills, independent and collaborative work, creative problem solving, the desire for continuous improvement per industry best practices, a talent for crafting engaging stories, attention to detail in compiling appropriate information, strong public communication skills, the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment, and the willingness to follow established guidelines. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related subject area and/or three years of experience in marketing and communication or other relevant field.  Additionally, this position requires knowledge of and experience in social media tools and techniques, the demonstration of creative and innovative skills, and the ability to think strategically. Proficiency in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite and experience with a variety of technology tools and social mediums is desired.

Rehab Therapy Services

Therapy services are provided for children with physical disabilities due to orthopedic or neurological conditions or those with developmental delays due to neurological conditions. Therapy is provided at Turnstone for children in our KELC programs or those attending on an outpatient basis. Our therapists enjoy a variety of treatment mediums available within the facility including our Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) Lab and Snoezelen Room. 

Therapy services are provided for adults with neurological and physical disabilities related but not limited to stroke, traumatic brain injury, and Parkinson's disease. Therapy is client focused to assist the individual to have the ability to be an independent communicator in all settings. 

Speech Language Pathologist (ASHA certified CCC-SLP or SLP-A) - pediatric and adult expereince is preferred. 

This position is temporary with possible future part time position.

Adult Day Services-Program Assistant

Turnstone is currently seeking two Program Assistants in the Adult Day Services for the Memory Care Program.  This position requires the candidate to be able to assist in planning, coordination and implementing of structured therapeutic activities that are designed to improve the overall function of the Memory Care client.  It also includes assisting with ADL’s as needed. 

 

Qualifications:
Previous Program Assistant experience is a plus. 
Candidate must have at least one year experience working with clients who have a dementia diagnosis and
The Candidate must enjoy working with this population of clients. 

These positions are both part time positions, 25 hours a week, Monday through Friday, and hours may vary.  No evenings, weekends or holidays required.
