We are currently seeking part-time Lifeguards to join the Turnstone team. This position is responsible for ensuring safety of individuals participating in aquatic activities and maintaining safe and clean environment in and around the pool area. Our warm water therapy pool is a very relaxed and calm environment to work in!

Need to certify or re-certify for your Lifeguard, CPR, and/or First Aid certification(s)? Turnstone will reimburse your training costs with a one-year agreement!

As a Lifeguard, your duties would include but are not limited to:

  • Supervising swimmers and providing assistance as needed.
  • Enforcing pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
  • Responding quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents.
  • Performing routine tasks to keep the pool area clean and safe.
  • Checking and maintaining chemicals.
  • Communicating with staff and patrons to promote water safety and awareness.

Skills:

  • Ability to remain calm and focused in emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • Current Lifeguard Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA, etc.) or the ability to get certified.
  • Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification or the ability to get certified.
  • Previous lifeguard experience (preferred).
