NWBA Hotel & Transportation Information

Lodging

The 2024 NWBA Women’s & Military Wheelchair Basketball National Championships will utilize a "Stay to Play Model" for lodging these events. Please see below for more information on "Stay to Play Model" which is commonly used in hosting sporting events:

The “Stay to Play” Model helps ensure the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) receives hotel rebates for room nights associated with our event. This model allows the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) to offset costs from these hotel rebates for LOC to come as close to breaking even on hosting this event as possible.

For logistical purposes, Turnstone/NWBA will contact all teams invited to Nationals to request their hotel information. Each team will provide a primary contact that will be responsible for completing the rooming list form providing their team’s name, team members, hotel name, and confirmation number(s). This form will be provided at the time of registration or located on the NWBA event website under the “Hotel” tab. All completed forms, including confirmation numbers, must be submitted by Friday, April 5th.

Please note that the Stay to Play model is vital in helping the NWBA support our LOC and creating an efficient and well-organized event for all participants and attendees. These hotel blocks are to be utilized by participating teams and athletes only. If you have any questions or need further assistance in booking your room, please reach out to Jazmin at [email protected] or Isaac Boatman at [email protected].
