Turnstone offers recreational and competitive sports programming for people with disabilities throughout the year. We have launched the Butler Family Elite Athlete Scholarship Fund to help fund opportunities that support rising and elite athletes in pursuit of excellence and their Paralympic dreams.
To apply for a Turnstone Elite Athlete Scholarship, an individual must be 14 years of age or older, have a permanent physical disability, (i.e. spinal cord injury, amputation, visual impairment, traumatic brain injury, nerve/muscle damage that permanently impedes function), and train at Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities, U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Site.
Turnstone uses the International Paralympic Committee's eligibility criteria as a guideline. The athlete must also be a Citizen of the United States.
Recipients may use funds accordingly to assist with participation and expenses associated with individual sport goals.
