Turnstone Hosts the Fright in the Fort Wheelchair Basketball Tournament – November 3rd & 4th

FORT WAYNE, IN (October 31, 2018) – Turnstone is proud to host the “Fright in the Fort” Wheelchair Basketball Tournament for Prep & Varsity wheelchair basketball teams on November 3rd and 4th. There will be 14 teams from around the Midwest region competing. Eight (8) of the competing teams are varsity (ages 14-18) and six (6) prep (ages 8-13) teams from Alabama, Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. 

Saturday games will begin at 10 am and the last game starts at 5:30 pm.

Sunday games begin at 8 am with the Varsity Division championship starting at 12:30 pm and the Prep Division Championship starting at 2:00 pm.

Both of Turnstone’s teams, the Turnstone Flyers (Prep and Varsity) will be competing in this tournament. Currently, Turnstone’s Prep Division team is ranked #9 nationally.

All games will be held in the Plassman Athletic Center at Turnstone, 3320 N. Clinton St., Fort Wayne. All games are open to the public with a nominal $1 entrance cost to support Turnstone's adaptive sports programming.
