Turnstone Hosts Summit City Shootout and 9th Annual Silver Stick Sled Hockey Finals February 2nd-3rd  

 

FORT WAYNE, IN (January 31, 2019) – Turnstone is proud to host two adaptive sports tournaments this weekend, February 2nd & 3rd.

The Summit City Shootout Wheelchair Basketball tournament for Division II and III teams to compete. There will be a total of 21 teams competing from around the United States and Canada, the largest wheelchair basketball tournament held at Turnstone to date.

Saturday games will begin at 8am and the last game starts at 5:45pm.

Sunday games begin at 8am and the last game will start at 12:30pm.

Admission for these games is $1.00. All games held in the Plassman Athletic Center at Turnstone, 3320 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN.

The second tournament that Turnstone is hosting is the 9th Annual Silver Stick Sled Hockey Finals for youth and adult teams with disabilities. There are 8 teams attending from around the Midwest to compete.

Saturday games will begin at 8am with the last match starting at 5:10pm.

Sunday games will begin at 7:00am with the last match starting at 4:00pm.

All games will be held at Trine University’s Thunder Ice Arena at 619 W Maumee St, Angola, IN 46703.
