Turnstone specializes in the provision of early education, therapy and rehabilitation services and sports and recreations programming for children and adults with disabilities.
For children, birth to age 18, common diagnoses treated by Turnstone pediatric therapists and within the early education program, include speech delays, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, autism/asperger syndrome, traumatic brain injury, down syndrome, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida and visual impairments.
For persons, age 18 and older, common diagnoses treated include stroke, rheumatoid arthritis, spinal cord injury, cancer, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, ALS and cerebral palsy. It is important to note that Turnstone’s adult therapy, adult day, wellness programs and sports and recreations programs are designed for those persons with physical disabilities.
