Fitness
Turnstone’s fitness center is wheelchair accessible and is home to 27 pieces of accessible pieces of strength training equipment. Other equipment available includes treadmills, elliptical, seated stepper and cardio eequipment. Turnstone’s fitness staff works with each member to create an individualized exercise plan. Turnstone’s Fitness program is for people from age 12 to adults with physical disabilities who meet Turnstone’s criteria for eligibility.
Membership rates:
- Fitness Program is $15 per month / $150 annual fee
- Combined with Aquatics: $20 per month / $200 annual fee
- Spouses can join for $25 per month / $240 annual fee
- One time evaluation, if necessary – $10 added to monthly fee

Aquatics
Turnstone’s warm water pool offers a therapeutic environment which relaxes your body, can help decrease pain, increases circulation and provides assistance with motion, as well as, a resisted exercise medium. The warm water pool is equipped with a chair lift; handrails and an underwater bench with whirlpool jets. Turnstone’s pool is a warm water therapeutic pool, not recreational. The pool is 3 ½ – 4 ½’ deep and 15’ x 20’; it is not an appropriate size for lap swimming.
Turnstone’s aquatic program is open to people of all ages with physical disabilities who meet Turnstone’s criteria for eligibility.
