Turnstone Board Of Directors
Turnstone is governed by a distinguished volunteer Board of Directors dedicated to the agency’s mission. These individuals provide expertise in legal, financial, and medical issues; child development, education, business management, and fundraising.
Jane DeHaven is currently the President and Dealer Principal at DeHaven Chevrolet. Many of her friends refer to her as "Jane of all Trades" and describe her most valuable traits as loyal and flexible. Prior to running the dealership, Jane helped grow her father's business, Indiana Corrugated, from 1989-2014 as its VP of Sales and Marketing. The business was sold in January 2014 to Welch Packaging.
Jane's motto is "Be Prepared" because forces beyond our control can challenge us to possess the flexibility to accept change. After graduating from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business in 1989 with a degree in Marketing, Jane thought she'd likely have four kids and be a stay at home mom. Jane has one amazing daughter and has at many times during her life held more than one job. However, family is everything to Jane and it is now incorporated in the dealership's tagline: "One Family. One Focus. One Goal." Jane has served on several boards and steering committees in Fort Wayne, resulting in millions of dollars raised for local charities. She is most proud to currently be serving a term on The Indiana University National Varsity Club Board as she bleeds crimson red. Go Hoosiers!
Davyd is a wealth advisor with Edward Jones Investments, serving the current and future financial needs of the long-term investor with a specific focus on efficient income planning strategies.
Prior to helping families and businesses with the intricacies of wealth building or protecting, Davyd terrorized offenses at Scheumann Stadium, on the football field, for Ball State University. Now, the former 2010 football team captain and four-year letterman has shifted his passions and dedicated himself to a life of service and giving back. If he isn't back in Muncie, serving on Ball State's Black Alumni Constituent Society Board, he's volunteering in his community at Turnstone, the United Way, Voices of Unity, a local high school, or speaking at an event across the country. Davyd believes a major part of life and the happiness it gives is God, family & service.
